elemental opened its doors in 2007, establishing itself as a creative niche for the exploration of concepts and ideas. Featured as "a place that triggers your imagination" by local newspapers and magazines, what began as a design store with a studio component is now a full-service construction and design studio.

Elemental delivers spaces and objects that are innovative, harmonious, and that live and breathe a contemporary attitude.

Elemental was founded in 2007 by Mauricio Gomez, graduate of New York's Parsons School of Design. Born from a desire to create a showcase for exceptional decorative arts and design, Elemental began as a design store featuring unique objects and furnishings from a diverse group of designers from around the world. Eventually, Elemental added a studio component, which then evolved into Elemental Design & Construction, a studio that offers a full range of design services for commercial and private spaces.

JULIANA UCRÓs/ partner

Juliana Ucrós is a creative director, content creator and multimedia producer. With a BA from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Miami, Juliana’s experience with design began during her years as a television producer, in charge of both set and graphic looks for all her stories and pieces. Juliana began collaborating with Elemental Design and Construction in 2016 and became a partner in 2020.
