Elemental was founded in 2007 by Mauricio Gomez, a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. What began as a curated design store — a showcase for exceptional decorative arts and rare objects sourced from designers around the world — has since grown into something far more comprehensive. Today, Elemental Design & Construction is a full-service studio offering design and construction for both commercial and private spaces, guided by the same conviction that started it all: that exceptional design is transformative.

Partner

Juliana Ucrós is a creative director and partner at Elemental with a background that spans television, content, and design. A Boston College and University of Miami graduate, she developed her eye for space and visual storytelling as a television producer — responsible for the full aesthetic of every piece she created. She joined Elemental in 2016 and became a partner in 2020. Her work bridges the creative and the strategic, shaping both the spaces Elemental delivers and the brand voice it carries.

With 10 years of hands-on experience restoring marble, solid wood, and concrete flooring for both residential and commercial spaces, Roberto brings a level of detail and precision to project management that only comes from having done the work himself. he understands exactly what each trade demands — and holds every project to that same standard. At Elemental, roberto draws on his extensive background in residential interior maintenance to keep projects running smoothly, on schedule, and finished to a standard he'd stand behind himself.

with a background in Industrial Engineering, Iván worked as a Human Resources and Sales Exective for a large multinational corporation for 15 years.

As project supervisor with elemental for the past two years, he applies his skills at optimizing and managing complex systems that integrate people, machines, materials and information to all our projects and job sites.

elemental has partnered with CP Finish & Carpentry, a construction company with over 20 years of experience in South Florida, to make all our design dreams a reality. Led by Carlos Ponce and working exclusively with elemental, CP Finish & Carpentry relies on a dedicated team of professionals to take care of all construction phases of a remodeling project, including demolition, framing, installation of drywall, tile and wood, finish and paint.
